WE VALUE RESEARCH
Here at INEX, we know medical science is only possible with rigorous study and research. Our founders and scientists work closely with professors, scientists and PhDs at research institutions such as A*STAR and the National University of Singapore (NUS) to develop and discover medical science in women’s and reproductive health.
INEX has expertise in translating research into molecular diagnostics and applying innovations into real-world clinical practice.
Over the past years, NUS and INEX have jointly been granted patents from the United States, Asia, and twenty-seven countries in the EU. One such patent is the diagnostic biomolecule, which relates to the measurement of haptoglobin levels in ovarian cysts to detect the presence of ovarian cancer.
INEX and A*STAR are currently working on medical science in the area of the Isolation of Fetal Nucleated Red Blood Cells from Maternal Blood, and this is set to be a game changer in the field of prenatal diagnosis.
UNLOCKING THE POWER OF THE HUMAN GENOME
We have entered a new era in the practice of medicine. Where previously unavailable, genetic analysis now helps physicians improve prenatal and reproductive care, screen certain conditions earlier and provide further management for better outcomes.
The way to improving human health is currently being paved by novel assays based on Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) and qPCR technologies. Through these methods, we are now able to analyse the genome and interpret the results. This means physicians and patients can now make health care decisions based on genomic information.
At INEX we shake the diagnostics status quo and put scientific discoveries into clinical practice. These can never be achieved by working in silo.
Partnerships are vital for continued medical science. We constantly seek collaborators to:
Support existing research and clinical programmes
Diversify our portfolio with medical science in women’s and reproductive health
Accelerate the development of innovative diagnostics tools
We hold a portfolio of global patents and licenses that can help bring fresh diagnostic solutions to new markets. Amidst rising healthcare needs, INEX constantly strives to develop medical and scientific solutions by leveraging our intellectual property to clinical needs.
